1. Acceptance
By using Handy50 you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please stop using the platform.
2. What Handy50 is
Handy50 is a marketplace that connects clients with independent professionals (“Pros”). We do not provide the services ourselves and no employment, partnership, or joint venture is created.
3. Accounts & verification
Provide accurate info, keep credentials secure, and respond to verification requests. We may suspend accounts that violate policies.
4. Pricing & payments
Base listing: USD $4.99, 30 days. Extra services: +$0.99 each, adds 7 days per extra. Fees are non-refundable except for our technical error. Payments are processed by third parties (e.g., Square); we do not store card data.
5. Pro responsibilities
Keep info accurate and lawful; maintain required licenses/insurance; honor scope and pricing; no offensive/illegal content.
6. Client responsibilities
Provide clear, accurate job info; pay Pros directly; do your own due diligence before hiring.
7. Handy50’s limited role
We do not guarantee quality, safety, legality, availability, or outcomes of Pro services. Agreements and disputes are between client and Pro.
8. Prohibited conduct
No illegal/fraudulent activity, harassment, impersonation, malware/spam, or attempts to bypass security.
9. Content & IP
You keep rights to your uploads but grant Handy50 a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display them on the platform. The platform content is owned by Handy50.
10. Payments & refunds
Listing fees are upfront and non-refundable except for our technical error. Payments between clients and Pros are outside Handy50; no refunds from us on those services.
11. Disclaimers
Service is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” without warranties (including merchantability, fitness for a purpose, non-infringement).
12. Liability limit
To the max extent allowed, Handy50 is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Total liability will not exceed the greater of USD $100 or the amount you paid Handy50 in the last 3 months.
13. Indemnification
You agree to defend and hold Handy50 harmless from claims, costs, and damages arising from your use or breach of these terms.
14. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations or platform risk. You may close your account at any time; accrued obligations remain.
15. Governing law & disputes
Florida, USA law. Binding, confidential arbitration in Miami-Dade County (AAA Commercial Rules), language: English. You waive jury trial and class actions.
16. Changes
We may update these terms; posting makes them effective. Continued use means you accept them.
